Bring your shovels and help plant a tree!

The Friends of the Parks annual Great Tree Canopy Comeback Event

has moved from the first Saturday in November to October 24 this year!

We will plant at six parks from 10 a.m. to noon.

If you can't help plant a tree donations are also welcome.

 

These are the parks we are planting this year:

• Franke Park

• Johnny Appleseed Canine Park

• Memorial Park

• Lakeside Park

 

 

BE A TREE CAPTAIN!

We invite you to help us as a TREE CAPTAIN if you have experience planting trees — whether you’re a trained volunteer or a professional in the landscape industry. If you are a professional, wear your business apparel and promote your services while you offer hands-on assistance and guidance as community volunteers plant trees.
